MP WELCOMES GRANT FOR LAW CENTRE

Jenny Tonge, Liberal Democrat MP for Richmond Park has welcomed the award of a Community Fund grant to Kingston Voluntary Action to help establish a Law Centre in Kingston upon Thames.

The award – of £88,225 over three years – will fund the salary of a full time Immigration Lawyer and a full time Housing/Community Care lawyer and help with the general running costs of KVA.

The MP said: "My weekly surgeries are full of people with both immigration problems and housing needs, so I know how desperately this service is needed."
