Middle East Meeting

Dr Jenny Tonge MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow International Development Spokesperson, is arranging a multi-faith discussion on the Middle East in light of her recent trip to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

She will commence the evening by giving a factual talk about her visit. She will be sharing the platform with David McDowall, a local author who is also knowledgeable on the subject. This will be followed by a public debate to which local faith leaders and authorities on the Middle East have been invited.

Jenny Tonge MP, "I am very keen to share with local people what I experienced on my recent trip to the Middle East. Reverend Julian Reindorp of the Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene, has very kindly agreed to Chair this event, and I am looking forward to hearing peoples views on this important subject".
