On Monday 30th July, Jenny Tonge MP and Dee Doocey, prospective candidate for the South West GLA seat met Steve Jones from the WPSA (Westminster Passenger Service Association).

Jenny Tonge MP: "I am very keen to help promote river transport in Richmond. Richmond has some of the top tourist attractions in London including Kew Gardens, and Richmond Park, and I cannot think of a better way to travel down from Westminster or Hampton Court than by boat."

"It is a great day out for the family, and with discounted fares available for travel card holders it also isn't too expensive."

Dee Doocey, "I live near Hampton Court and think that at the moment the River is clearly underused by passenger services. Travelling by boat is fun and environmentally friendly. I am keen to help promote this service."
