• THE search for a new home for Hampton Hill Library has ended - and the move will bring the service up to date in brand new premises in a more accessible and convenient location.

Richmond Council is negotiating the move from the present cramped Victorian library and fire station buildings in Windmill Road into brand new high-profile premises on Hampton Hill High Street. Cabinet Member for Youth, Culture and Leisure, Cllr Liz Jaeger said: "This move reflects our commitment to developing the range and quality of cultural facilities for our residents. It will also address issues around the disabled access at the current premises. The new premises will offer state of the art, cost-effective facilities which will greatly enhance library and information services for residents and visitors to Hampton Hill."
